HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

The 7.0 earthquake in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince has left the city of at least 1.8 million devastated. Knox ivi and 11 O'CLOCk ROCk! want to make sure you know where to go to help. We are directing people to The American Red Cross who has pledged an initial $1 Million in relief.

The American Red cross is accepting donations through the International Response Fund or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767). You can also easily send a $10 Donation by Texting "Haiti" to 90999, and the donation will be taken from your phone bill. This an effort backed by the U.S. State Department.

Every little bit helps.

11 O'CLOCk ROCK! is Knoxivi's flagship program, streamed live--Monday thru Friday--from Knoxivi's studio on 17 Market Square. Hosts Brent Thompson and Lauren Lazarus will feature local filmmakers, musicians, artists, writers, and other folks of interest, as well as local farmers and small business owners.

Our N.E.W.S (short for North, East, West, South) will cover an eclectic range of entertainment and happenings throughout the region. You can catch 11 O'CLOCk ROCK! live online at www.knoxivi.com/eleven and interact with us via Skype. Or you can come down to the Market Square studio and watch the show in person while you enjoy some yummy food served up by the Lunchbox.
